  1. Hi- I see you studied in Canada, or perhaps are even a displaced Canadian who’s ended up on the other side of the world. I’ve visited once and it is certainly a beautiful side! Just thought I’d let you know that I got an email from wordpress saying you are following me (thanks! Hope things don’t get too boring!). But you don’t turn up on my list of followers. So if you don’t hear from me, I don’t think it will be my fault :). I’ve been trying to work out how the whole system works, which is why I’ve been checking, so if you just decided to change your mind, that explains it, then. Take care and good luck with your studies. BTW, I was delighted to learn that a school in southwestern Ontario will be using my book to launch an after-school cooking class – so awesome! Just what I was hoping for when I started the blog – Sharon

  2. Great exuberant photo for a great exuberant lady! Like the comment above, I too have a Canada-Australia connection, and I do think there’s a natural affinity between our countries. Oh, Algonquin Park… in another month or so, it will be alive with colour. But every place has its own magic, and we can love each for what it is. Good lu7ck with all your adventures.

  3. Elke,

I appreciate your blog since you are clearly passionate about teaching and education. Plus, you have travel posts as well! I am a language arts teacher in the US, and in 2010, I taught in Adelaide, SA, as an exchange teacher. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Thanks for stopping by Travel Oops and liking the post about hiking up Mt. Princeton!
